On Wednesday October 30th, chef Matt Germanchis from Anglesea’s Captain Moonlite took over the hibachi grill for a seafood feast.

At Captain Moonlite, Matt and partner Gemma Gange’s coastal Mediterranean menu celebrates local seafood - most of it pulled straight from the ocean swelling beneath his surf-lifesaving club-turned-restaurant.

Swapping the waves of the Bellarine for the calm of Port Phillip Bay for one night only, Melbourne diners were invited to try Captain Moonlite’s signature Mediterranean flavours using local seafood cooked over the coals of the hibachi grill.

It was an incredible evening of food, booze and tunes - we can’t wait to visit them on the coast again soon!
