On Wednesday 26 June, Supernormal Canteen joined forces with Nikka and Asahi to celebrate all things whisky at a one-off dinner event titled Whisky Business.
Guests were treated to a 5-course meal influenced by the cuisine of the Kyoto prefecture of Japan, and developed specifically to be paired with whisky.
Kevin Griffin from Nikka hosted the evening, guiding the room through each menu pairing in an incredibly passionate and engaging discussion.
The menu referenced the Scottish influence on Nikka’s range of whiskies with broths, cured and smoked fish and offal all making an appearance.
